NEW practical training on the confocal microscopes
The Sackler Cellular & Molecular Imaging Center (SCMIC) will begin new practical training on the confocal microscopes, which will be open for students, post docs and staff members. The training will include a four-hour orientation day followed by one-on-one hands-on training on a specific microscope with your own samples. This will usually take several paid sessions (2 hours each) depending on the pace and samples.
The orientation day will be held 3-4 times a year. It will include a brief introduction to confocal microscopy, principles, important features and working rules/guidelines. Following the orientation day, participants who have their own samples ready for imaging will schedule a session with one of the Imaging Center microscopy staff (Leonid, Sasha or Miriam), using their preferred microscope.
Following the training sessions, the user will be authorized to operate the specific microscope he/she trained on independently.
The first practical training session take place on March 3, 2016. For registration please click here and choose your preferred date Register Online
We look forward to meeting you!
