Research topic: Multivalency of polymer therapeutics used for the integration of anti-angiogenic therapy with chemotherapy 

Imaging projects in the lab include:

  • Tumor progression monitoring (fluorescence and bioluminescence).
  • Pharmacokinetics and biodistribution of fluorescently-labeled nanomedicines.
  • Ultrasound imaging of tumor vasculature using contrast media-microbubbles.
  • Characterization of blood vessels using endomicroscopy. 
  • Subcellular trafficking of fluorescently-labeled nanomedicines.

Whole animal Imaging: Fluorescence Imaging – CRI Maestro; Bioluminescence Imaging – Photon Imager, Biospace; Fiber Confocal Microscopy – CellVizio; Ultrasound: Sequoia 512 (Siemens) and Vevo 2100 (Visual Sonic).

Image analysis services: Deconvolution – Using the Huygens software; 3D and 4D Real-Time Interactive Image Visualization – Using the Imaris software
